A large cross covered with newspaper articles (representing the ‘fallen’ society in which we live) will be carried through the Potteries during Holy Week. On Tuesday (31/03) whilst en route from Tunstall to Stoke, the cross will spend 30 minutes here at St. Mark’s from roughly 10.15am. It would be good to see a number of people here to join in a short time of prayer. From 12.00 noon until 3.00pm the cross will be stationed in Sainsbury’s car park (Stoke) and at 7.00pm there will be a service in St. Peter’s (Stoke). As a church congregation, we will be supporting this evening service – please come if can! Some A4 posters are available at the back of church.
